Dr. Mdw Tomasina Oliver  began exploring her interests in Natural Healing Arts and Complementary Health Sciences as a Midwife after the home birth of her first child in 1993. After attending the University of California Irvine and University of California Riverside, Tomasina took her undergraduate talents in philosophy, performing arts and social law and relocated back to the east coast where, she completed her Diploma of Midwifery and graduated in 1997 from the School of Complementary Medicine in Central FL. Tomasina has many credentials in ethno-medicinal sciences, botanical chemistry, health & mental wellness counseling, education and spiritual facilitation work. Tomasina apprenticed with many Birth Professionals and Midwives from all over the world; CNM's, CPM's, ARNP's, meta-physical healers, physicians and several other multi-disciplinary specialists to complete an internship as a Complementary Medicine Specialists (aka Naturopath at a time when no license was required). Tomasina remains committed to building Healers and Birth Ministry Masters within Our communities of African , Indigenous and Māori Tribal Ancestry to promote health equity and social justice for all concerned while serving all in need. Her skill set is unparalleled in diverse treatment options as she has delivered double and well over 2000 babies! Tomasina promotes teaching and sharing with younger Midwives ANS(Autonomic Nerve System) Therapy, Iridology, Kinesiology, MT (Muscle Testing) and socio-spiritual-mental NLS and (Neuro Linguistic Specialist) as a few other healing arts acquired over the past 25 years. Having briefly served on the NARM (North American Registry Midwives) board, and as Vice President with MANA 2020-2021 (Midwives Alliance of North America). She is familiar with the nuances and intricacies of corporate Midwifery work. Currently Midwife Tomasina remains a Midwifery Advocate for building communities focused on training and replenishing ancestral birth care providers. Tomasina, called Midwife T, participates at conferences and speaking engagements to promote continual advancement for home birth options as a founding member and Master Minister Midwife Emeritus with UBBC, the United Black Birth Collective and Women in Ministry Institute.

Until I became an Emancipated Minister,  serving any other way meant I can get only get grants as long as melanated people stay in poverty, spiritually and mentally; as long as the melanated body is sick, or being abused;babies and mothers dying. Perinatal statistics counting morbidity and mortality.  Our bodies overcome with malnutrition disorders like diabetes, cardiac dysfunctions, cancers...Long as these exist, I can get grants to do most anything!  ...I guess I will not get any grants then. I Am a Healer; We have to thrive and equity has to be in place for that...all the grants offered to Me are contingent on melanated People in crisis...I can do with out that; My reality is life more aundant and love for Self. Give Me a grant for that! "
